Women’s Basketball National Team starts their trainings before the preparation period for Rio

Women’s Basketball National team of Serbia will gather in sport hall Vizura sport nd start their trainings before the official preparations for the Olympic Games in Rio.

As it has been decided by the coaching staff headed b marina Maljkovic , and upon the request by players themselves, it has been agreed to practice seven additional days so that the girls will be fitter for the preparation planned from July 10 on Zlatibor.

The players will practice twice a day in Vizura sport hall , both individually and in a group. Nine players will practice: Milica Dabovic, Tamara Radocaj, Sasa Cadjo, Sara Krnjic , Nevena Jovanovic, Dajana Butulija, Tijana Ajdukovic, Sanja Mandic and Dragana Stankovic., and Kristina Topuzovic , who has medical permission, to practice, will join the team. Bojan Jankovic, assistant coach from the United States of America, will join Coaching stuff.

Jelena Milovanovic and Daniel Page , as well as several other players will join them at Zlatibor on July 10th, and the arrival of Sonja Petrovic and Ana Dabovic from WNBA is expected by the end of the month.

The completion in Rio for our European champions starts on August 7th, when them play with Spain , and other teams in the group are Canada, USA, China and Senegal..
